                  Long Range Planning
            Committee
    
      Following recommendations of the FEMA Long-Term Community
Recovery Initiative by vote of the Board of Alderman, a Long Range
Planning Committee is established.  
     The committee membership includes the leader of each of four groups
organized during the weeks of stakeholder meetings.  Each committee
member is to serve in the leadership role for one of the four (4) groups.  
These groups a
re sub committees of the Long Range Planning Committee.

        The committee members are as follows:  
              Bud Garrison, Margie Greenwell,
               Hugh Hanna and Mary Keeven

      Flood Mitigation:  Bud Garrison -  chairperson.

     The purpose of this committee is to serve as a wide voice of the
community regarding agreed-upon community interests, visions and goals.  
Serving as “champions” each sub-committee will research projects, contact
resources, seek input from community residents, and formulate
recommendations to be submitted to the Board of Alderman for
consideration.
     The size of the membership including the sub-committees should not
exceed 16 people.  Members should be committed to participation on a
regular basis for one year or until the committee work has been formulated
and recommended to the Board whichever occurs first.
